“In times of political and economic uncertainty, good stories, like a good physician, have the power to heal”.
Yvonne Williams felt “really burdened for the dignity I saw being lost in our country, especially the dignity of
women”.
Originally she began to write a novel, suddenly was inspired to write a screenplay instead, and began to study
online and took AB Tech’s six-week course Foundations of Screenwriting.
“We’ve talked to so many people in the last couple of years from age 25 and up, and they tell us they are sick of
being slapped in the face at the movies with sex and violence and intense language. They want to feel better about
their lives again.
